Get away from the overwhelm and get back to the life you always wanted.
Therapy for Anxiety in San Clemente, CA and across California and Texas
“It’s like I wake up and I’m anxious already
before my day even starts.”

“This voice in my head keeps telling me I’m
never going to do anything right.”

“Everyone else looks like they can handle it all,
and I can barely do ONE THING.”

“I keep losing my temper at my family, my friends,
my coworkers, but I don’t mean to; I’m just so stressed.”
Are you:
-
Feeling busy, but somehow nothing ever seems to get done?
-
Looking at the ever-growing task list and just…walking away…again?
-
On edge, unhappy, short-tempered, or panicking?
-
Constantly dealing with stomach upset or headaches?
-
Taking the edge off of the stress and overwhelm of juggling a million little things by having an extra drink or two? (Or maybe something more than alcohol?)
Everyone else seems to handle all of these responsibilities without breaking a sweat. All your friends, neighbors, coworkers, family members seem to just have it all together. All the time. Effortlessly.

You can’t figure out what’s in your way and why it’s so hard for JUST YOU.

Imagine...
If anxiety creates low self-esteem, systemic overwhelm, and relationship struggles…

…then therapy for anxiety will bring back your confidence, your internal calm balance, and your connection with others.

When anxiety triggers panic attacks, exhaustion, and a desire to give up or run away…

…therapy for anxiety will help you reduce symptoms of panic, sleep better and get your energy back, and anchor you to your life in ways that are supportive and allow you to love your life again.
HOW ANXIETY THERAPY WITH ME WORKS:

The starting point

It can feel like you’ve had anxiety forever, and it’s just never not been there. But there’s value in going back over things that contributed to how anxiety formed in your life, including looking at how you were raised, when being a little anxious might have actually helped you get through hard things, and where anxiety got too big to handle on your own.
The journey

Together, we’ll add healthy coping skills to reduce your anxiety and increase your ability to harness challenges and stress to make them work for you, not the other way around. I’ll use empathy, my mad skills as a seasoned therapist and neuropsychologist, and even some humor to guide you in successfully tackling situations that feel most anxiety-provoking for you.

We'll use research-based, proven techniques from therapy models such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Interpersonal, Client-Centered, and even EMDR to help you help yourself in ways that fit your style and needs best. It's not "one size fits all," but a blend of approaches and methods designed with YOU in mind every step of the way.

The destination

Nobody wants to have anxiety. Or panic attacks. Or to fail at whatever is on the task list. Therapy for anxiety gives you the knowledge and skills to regain the balance and calm that you need in your life. We’ll talk smack to that harsh inner critic and hand it a different script to use during difficult situations. And the positive self-talk you gain in therapy with me will translate not only to how you see yourself, but how you navigate and succeed in your relationships, your career or school, and your future.
Stop the overwhelm and start trusting yourself again.
